Made from organic duck rice.

Pasterized once, this sake will mature over time and should be kept in the fridge.

This sake is made from  premium Koshihikari organic duck rice, normally reserved as an eating rice. This gives the sake a velvet texture and a fresh flavour. LOHAS sake is produced by Minenoyaki winery in Kitakata and in collaboration with Nihon University, Lohas engineering, Koriyama. Lohas stands for lifestyle of health and sustainability.  To make this rice we introduce trained ducklings into the rice fields to eat weeds and insects and eliminating the need to use chemicals on the crop or in the soil.
